Tissue/lake (2023) is a series of three handwoven Jacquard textiles in cotton and linen. An image of knit structure enmeshes abstract ink forms drawn directly on the warp threads. In this work, the mimesis of land forms and bodies of water recollect an ephemeral, affective prairie.
