The Milkweed damask project began in late January 2022 and continues in 2026. I am working with various species of the Milkweed plant - Asclepias incarnata, speciosa and syriaca toward producing hand-spun thread suitable for weaving. The goal is to produce enough thread of a quality suitable for damask weaving.
