The Folding vernacular series (2025) recollects familiar floral and geometric patterns of clothing and household textiles. Improvised patterns are spray-painted onto a silk warp and juxtaposed with woven bands in a dual-sided cloth. Folding the cloth highlights the notion of touch both sensual and mundane as each piece is pleated, folding back on itself.
